Mada Surf Ranch was originally set up in 2018 to cater for travelling surfers but quickly became very popular with families and the overall general public largely due to the laidback atmosphere and unbeatable value for money accommodation and food. The hotel is ideally located right on the beach around 500m from the main fishing village and a stones throw from the crystal clear lagoon. Every evening the sun sets into ocean straight opposite the hotel and behind the legendary island of Nosy Vè providing some of the most breathtaking sunsets you will ever see. Whether you’re travelling with your partner, with a group of friends, or with the whole family Mada Surf Ranch is the ideal place to chill out and enjoy the laidback beach vibe of Anakao! Family Friendly Beachfront Accommodation!
The hotel has three large family bungalows right on the beachfront and plus another family and five double bungalows in the garden area just a stones throw from the beach. All rooms are equipped with ensuite bathroom and toilet.The hotel is also equipped with two independent solar power systems, the first to assure lighting 24/24 and the main system for the bar, kitchen, restaurant, and power banks for recharging telephones, cameras and computers etc. We also have unlimited WiFi in the chill out lounge and bar to ensure our clients get their daily fix ! For travelling surfers we also have a large range of surfboards and wetsuits available for rent and sell a range of waxes and other miscellaneous merchandise to get you through the day. Although the hotel was primarily set up to cater for our surfing guests it has also become very popular with a wide range of travellers and is fast becoming the place to be in Anakao! It should also be mentioned that families and couples with young children particularly appreciated their stay as we also train the junior surf team from Anakao so there’s always plenty of action on the beach with the kids playing football, beach rugby, cricket and surfing of course and no shortage of groms to help look after the kids either! Definitely the best place to stay if you wanna keep the little ones entertained!!

ABOUT US
We've been doing surf tours in the Toliara region since 2010 and the hotel was originally set up in 2018 to cater for our surfer clients however it fast became popular with the general public due to it's laid back atmosphere and unbeatable value for money food and accommodation. Today we are also home to The Green Team, the Anakao Junior Surfing Squad who we train and surf with regularly, a nicer bunch of kids you'd be hard pressed to meet! They have become a real asset to the hotel always playing with and looking after clients' kids and have definitely added that family friendly touch that can't be bought no matter what price you pay!
